One of the hand-ins for this semester was to create a launch strategy that shows the different ways I would launch my app if it were to get through the design and development stages.

My launch strategy consisted of 16 pages including a start and end page.

  1. It included a contents page that just talks about what each page in the launch strategy contains.
  2. The next page is just a simple introduction that tells readers about what FIND YOUR FIT is and how it will be marketed to raise awareness for the brand through the uses of social media, website, merch and different touch points.
  3. I then went on to talk about how FIND YOUR FIT will be available on both the IOS and Google Play Stores and will be available for free with no hidden costs.
  4. I also talked about how social media will be used to promote the app through Instagram and Twitter. and how there would be different competitions for users to win prizes. Instagram will show how the app works and show its special features. There will also be a hashtag created to help promote the app as well.
  5. I will also create a promotional website that will encourage users to download the app and will also tell users what the app is about and what it does as well as have links to buy merchandise.
  6. Good marketing is the key to any product, which is why I will market my app in different ways in my launch strategy I talked about how I would produce leaflets and distribute them in GP's offices or even psychiatrists’ offices. I will run social media campaigns to help raise brand awareness. I would also design billboards and signs that would be placed around cities in the country.
  7. Another way to build brand awareness and get more people to know about FIND YOUR FIT is merch. I will create T-shirts, hoodies, gym bags and even water bottles, but as the brand continues to grow and evolve I will invest in mugs, tote bags, phone cases, beanies and even brand collabs with Myprotein or Gymshark.

Overall I like how my launch strategy has turned out as it has many ideas that would make FIND YOUR FIT well advertised and well promoted and hopefully attract users to the app.
