Sketches

Below are my initial sketches for my 6 different medals that I am creating for my mental health app. The badges are inspired by things in the world like the Pyramids of Giza, The Great Wall of China and Big Ben just to name a few.

Final medals

These are the 6 different medals that I created for my app, I took inspiration from Fitbit's medals but did them differently and tried to make them my own. the 6 medals are

1. The Pyramid medal for when you walk the equivalent of the height and length of the great Pyramids of Giza.
2. The Great Wall Medal for when you have ran the length of the Great Wall Of China.
3. The Fire medal for when you have burned over 300 calories in 4 days.
4. The Emotion medal for when you have not logged a sad or angry feeling in 5 days.
5. The Big Ben Medal for when you have walked the length of Big Ben.
6. The Machu Pichu Medal for when you have walked the Height of Machu Pichu.

I tried to keep my medals simple yet effective, I prefer minimalistic design so I tried to keep them all as minimal as I could. I think they turned out well as they looked good and are easy to understand what they are.

Full badges

These images are what the full medals look like when the use taps on the smaller medal in the previous page. For the background of the full medal i did a gradient of the main colour and then a lighter colour, as I thought it would make it look more colourful. I then have the medal itself, then a small paragraph telling them they won it and what their run or walk is equivalent too in the real world. I think these full medals turned out well and look good and are something fun for users to work to and achieve.
